Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of mosa.ink, operated by InkDev GmbH ("mosa.ink", "we", "us"). You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process data.

Publishing and purchases

Authors retain ownership of their work and decide what to publish and offer. mosa.ink contracts with readers for purchases made through the platform. Descriptions, prices, included benefits, subscription cadence and the access available at checkout form part of the relevant offer. Taxes may be added at checkout where applicable.

Paid access may include books, chapters, downloads or benefits fulfilled outside the platform. Do not share private download links or access details. Downloads, screenshots and copies already saved outside mosa.ink cannot be recalled through our access controls.

Author account deletion and access withdrawal

Author account deletion withdraws all of that author's content and benefits from mosa.ink. We revoke platform access immediately, unpublish the author's offers and immediately submit cancellation of subscriptions to those offers. Provider confirmation may remain pending during an outage. This includes free and paid books and chapters, one-time purchases, subscription content, historical benefits, downloads and private perks. Existing signed links expire after their short technical lifetime and may remain usable until then.

The author is responsible for choosing to withdraw their content. mosa.ink remains the reader's contracting party for purchases through the platform. If a paid charge and lost access require assessment, contact support with the purchase details. These Terms do not determine the outcome of an individual claim, and your statutory rights and remedies remain unaffected.

Stopping renewal normally differs from author account deletion: ordinary cancellation and ordinary offer unpublication preserve paid access until the displayed paid-through date. Author account deletion applies the complete withdrawal described above.

Your account

You may delete your account in Settings. Before deleting a reader account, stop renewal of subscriptions you bought from other authors. If you also publish, deletion applies the author-withdrawal policy above. Account deletion does not erase records we must retain for payments, accounting, tax, fraud prevention or legal obligations.

Acceptable use

Do not infringe rights, misuse another person's account, evade access controls, interfere with the service or use mosa.ink unlawfully. We may restrict content or accounts where needed to operate the service, comply with law or protect users, while respecting mandatory rights.

Changes, law and contact

We record the Terms version accepted when required. A separate consent about starting digital supply during a withdrawal period does not replace acceptance of these general Terms. Material changes apply as communicated and as permitted by law. German law applies to the extent allowed by mandatory consumer law.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. For services and digital content supplied without a physical medium, the withdrawal period is 14 days from the conclusion of the contract. It does not begin before you have been properly informed about your right of withdrawal.

To exercise this right, inform us, InkDev GmbH, Allgäuer Str. 33, 86391 Stadtbergen, Germany, email team@mosa.ink, of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. You may also submit your declaration through our public withdrawal function. If you submit it online, we will acknowledge receipt by email without delay. You do not need an account or a reason, and the website function is not the only way to withdraw.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including any delivery costs (except supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise; you will not incur fees for reimbursement.

If you expressly requested that services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay a proportionate amount for the services provided until you informed us of your withdrawal, compared with the full contract, only where the statutory requirements, including the required prior information, are met. For a paid service, the right expires upon full performance only if, before performance began, you expressly consented to early performance and acknowledged that full performance would end your withdrawal right.

For paid digital content supplied without a physical medium, the right expires early only when performance has begun after your express consent to commencement before the end of the withdrawal period, your acknowledgement that this causes your right to expire when performance begins, and provision of the required contract confirmation on a durable medium. Acceptance of general Terms alone is not this separate consent. Access or consumption alone does not establish all these conditions. If you validly withdraw from digital content supply, you owe no compensation for its use. After withdrawal you must stop using the digital content or service and must not make it available to others; platform access will end.
